All-County High School Chorus for March 2012

The Board of Directors of the Carolina Concert Choir (CCC) is sponsoring the creation of the first All-County High School Chorus.  The auditioned choral group will consist of high school students from Henderson County public, private, and home schools.
The Carolina Concert Choir (CCC), an all-auditioned choral group, is home-based in Hendersonville, North Carolina and is conducted by Bradford Gee, who serves as Artistic Director/Conductor.  The CCC, now in its 32nd season, performs classical and contemporary choral music, always striving for excellence in performance.  The CCC performs four concerts each season.  In addition, the group has performed locally with the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, as well as being selected to perform in the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina.
Mission Statement: “The mission of the Carolina Concert Choir is to foster excellence in music toward the enrichment of the cultural life of the community.”
As members of the community we are committed to foster the development of young singers in our local area.  The CCC believes that singing with a choral group can encourage youth to participate in a life-long journey to love the arts and can provide an opportunity to participate in the cultural life of their community.
